Senior J-B Cadrin establishes its head office in his general store in Saint-Anselme.
The second generation of the Cadrin family (Jean-Baptiste Cadrin Junior and his wife Léa Audet) are involved in the continuation of the family's business activities.
The first Beaudry grocery store is born. It was in October 1917, on Broadway Street in Montreal East, that Arthur Beaudry opened the first Beaudry grocery store.

Inauguration of the grocer-wholesaler business at the Beaudry family. Jean-Paul Beaudry expands the activities of his company by building a distribution center in Anjou.
A 5th generation of Cadrin joins the company. Daniel, Normand and Michel Cadrin, the sons of Lucien, join the family business.

Acquisition. René Tessier ltée, food wholesale from the Saint-Casimir region is bought by J.B Cadrin inc.
Inauguration of the new distribution center. To meet the needs of its growing customer base, Jean-Paul Beaudry Ltée is moving its activities to Pointe-aux-Trembles. The 4th generation of the Beaudry family, François and Jean-Philippe, are involved in the family business.
J.B Cadrin acquires the Langlois and Langlois distributor from Granby.
Two majors in food distribution unit. On Febuary 17, J.B Cadrin inc. and Jean-Paul Beaudry ltée join forces. The new company is now called Beaudry & Cadrin inc.
Acquisition of the food distributor Roland & Frères in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
